Rajasthan has always been a land of storytellers - puppeteers, miniature painters, block printers, and folk artists who were creators long before the world named the creative economy. What is new is not the creativity, but the recognition that it is among the most valuable assets a nation can build its future on.

The Orange Economy is the business of imagination - turning culture, creativity, and intellectual property into value across film, animation, gaming, comics, design, and immersive media. Globally it is worth over $2 trillion. India's media and entertainment sector has already crossed ₹2.5 trillion, with the potential to reach $100 billion within a decade, powered by 800 million internet users and one of the world's youngest populations.

This moment is decisive. The Economic Survey 2025–26 elevated the Orange Economy to a national priority, and the Union Budget 2026–27 committed to AVGC Content Creator Labs in 15,000 schools and 500 colleges, anchored by IICT, Mumbai. With nearly 2 million AVGC professionals needed by 2030, India is pivoting from a service economy to a creative powerhouse - to "Create in India, Create for the World."

Rajasthan is ready to lead. Backed by a ₹1,000 crore AVGC-XR Policy and new infrastructure like the Atal Innovation Studio and Accelerator in Jaipur, our state pairs rising technology with unmatched cultural depth. Our Kathputli, miniature art, and craft traditions are not relics - they are the raw IP for a new generation of digital storytellers.

RAMA exists to turn this opportunity into reality. As Rajasthan's first dedicated AVGC-XR body and a Section 8 non-profit, we are the bridge - between heritage and technology, creators and government, students and studios, local craft and global markets. Through skilling, policy access, Creator Labs, regional chapters, and our flagship summit RAS - Rajasthan AVGC-XR Summit, we are building a connected creative ecosystem.
